Buckeye in Bloom

Buckeye in Bloom is a public art installation created for Buckeye’s utility box art program, celebrating the landscapes of the surrounding Sonoran Desert. Inspired by the nearby White Tank Mountains, the artwork reflects the idea that the desert reveals its vibrancy when explored more closely.

Rendered in a faceted geometric style, the composition features an abstracted mountain range alongside desert icons including cacti, agave, a jackrabbit, and a cactus wren. Movement and color capture the energy of the landscape while celebrating the mountains as a place for recreation, exploration, and home.
