2600 Canyon Archive
Canyon Archive is a sculptural installation created for the repositioning of 2600, an office building in central Phoenix. The concept draws inspiration from the Friday Club, an early women’s book club that helped establish Arizona’s first public library.
The installation features 600 vintage books arranged in layered shades of red, mounted to appear as though they float from the wall. The composition echoes the striated colors of desert canyon walls, with intentional gaps forming the shape of a river.
Paired with curated portraits of musicians with ties to the Valley, the storytelling celebrates literature, creativity, and the ideas that shape community.
